Art(s) Psycotherapist
Art(s) Psychotherapist is a protected title and recognised in the UK as a profession allied to medicine and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). This means that arts therapists have undertaken extensive, rigorous and authorised training.

Art(s) Therapy
Art(s) therapy is a form of psychotherapy that uses imagination, art making and creative processes in the context of a therapeutic relationship. In particular art therapy is able to embrace non-verbal and pre-verbal dimensions of existence, providing varied media for their exploration.

Art making can provide physical and emotional relief as we express painful and difficult experiences in vivid, tactile materials with the understanding and support of a therapist/artist.

Using the imagination allows reconnection to deep dreams and life aspirations as well as insight into deeply held fears, fantasies and negative experiences.

I completed a 4 year registered UKCP and HCPC training in integrative Arts Psychotherapy in 2011.
